Libyan Rebels Hack Powerwheels Toy Into Robot Gun

Move over Tank Truck: the Libyan rebels have a whole slew of homemade hightech weaponry entering the field. They’ve also hacked together remote control machine guns for use on an ammunition resupply vehicle.

Though how many of these digital DIY weapons are in the field, it’s impressive that the rebel group was able to assemble them so quickly and, apparently, effectively. Notably, the US Army already has these capabilities; fighting robots and remotely operated gun turrets have already seen much combat.
