Kid’s Nearly Uncanny Taylor Swift Performance May Just Brighten Your Day
You could use a day brightener, right?
As part of the Your Face Sounds Familiar television show in the Philippines, seven year old Xia Vigor performed the Taylor Swift classic, “You Belong With Me,” all while dressed and made up as Swift a la the music video. There was even a mid-song costume change as her band uniform tore away to reveal a glittery gown.
The young kid is very precocious, certainly embodying the habits and traits of someone who’s used to giving interviews on television shows. You can see for yourself as she’s interviewed by the host and the judges after her performance. The judges, of course, were getting a total kick out of her performance, which was packed with just about all of the Swiftian trademarks one might expect out of a TSwift music video: winks, hair flips, poses, and more.
There’s also a quick shot of the other kids who competed, all watching and clapping along. I think I spotted a kid Lady Gaga there, too… where’s her video?
