LoriAnn Costume Designs Shows You How to Sew Your Own Harley Quinn Apron
LoriAnn Costume Designs‘ LoriAnn Gerlisky has just revealed three new sets of patterns that she’ll be shipping out through Simplicity next month, so for those of you with sewing machines and a craving to cook while wearing what Harley Quinn would, check out these new offerings!
The apron pattern, featured up top, is my personal favorite of the batch. The pattern includes the Harley Quinn-themed design that I mentioned, as well as themed patterns inspired by a Dalek and the Tardis (from Doctor Who), a tunic-like apron reminiscent of Link (from The Legend of Zelda), and a gray apron with a pink heart on it that is clearly intended to evoke Portal‘s iconic Companion Cube.
There are two more pattern packages slated to come out from LoriAnn Costume Designs next month, as well, so if aprons aren’t your thing, you might enjoy these nerdy handbags:
For the more experienced tailors among us, here’s the third pattern that’ll be coming out with this batch. It’s an ornate Pirate-meets-Lolita fashion design that can be made with two different variations on the collar and clasps:
All three of these pattern packs will be available in stores at from Simplicity this October 7th. Just in time for Halloween!
