Due to age differences, the staff of the Mary Sue is divided on whether Catherine O’Hara is most accurately described as “the mom from Home Alone” or “the lady in all the Christopher Guest movies” or “Character Actress Godess.” You’ll have to decide for yourself.

Lynda Carter, as you might know, was notoriously careful about getting typecast as Wonder Woman in her early career, not to mention a little uncomfortable with some of the attention she got for the role. She declined to appear in costume for her guest stint on The Muppet Show (only two episodes after Mark Hamill had guest starred as himself and Luke Skywalker, with C-3PO, R2-D2 and Chewbacca), but that was okay, because we got Miss Piggy as Wonder Woman instead.
