Mads Mikkelsen in Early Talks for Villain Role in Doctor Strange

Recommended Videos

Mads Mikkelsen, fresh off the recent news of his casting in Star Wars: Rogue One, has apparently also just entered early talks to play a villain in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie. He’d be starring opposite Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, Tilda Swinton as Ancient One, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. Honestly, between these three confirmed actors, that’s already a pretty stellar cast. Mikkelsen would bring a lot to the table.

Since the talks are so early, there’s no confirmation who Mikkelsen will be playing. The only known thing is that he’s going to be playing a villain if these talks shake out. He’s no stranger to villainous doctors, though. His role here as a villain is in contrast to his supposed character in Rogue One. He himself said that the character he’s playing in Rogue One is not a bad guy.

So, sportsfans? What do you think? Which villain could Mikkelsen play in Doctor Strange?
