Alien Abduction Bug Caused Male Pregnancies Among Men Who WooHoo-ed With Aliens In The Sims 4

This sounds like a National Enquirer headline...

Men, if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be pregnant, check out the Get to Work expansion for The Sims 4, and all your curiosity can be sated. Of course, you might have to have sex with an alien. Well, your Sim will, anyway.

Apparently, the Get to Work expansion contained a bug that started a more than usual amount of alien abductions. Alien abduction is an intentional feature, but they weren’t supposed to start happening all over the place. Once that started, male Sims suddenly started getting pregnant right and left, through no control from the players.

What’s intriguing  is that a lot of players thought this was really cool! Apparently, there’s already a male pregnancy mod for The Sims 4; but suddenly, lots of people with male Sims wanted to get them knocked up! Even other Sims players in other games wanted to get in on the action, wondering why their male Sims couldn’t get pregnant.

That doesn’t mean that no one complained, however. Enough Sim lives were ruined by alien babies running around – and it was happening to people who didn’t want it, while not happening for people who did. Then suddenly, the features of alien abductions and male pregnancies suddenly disappeared. It seemed that, by patching and limiting the opportunity for male Sims to woohoo (that’s Simlish for sex) with aliens, the male pregnancy thing had gotten under control.

BUT WAIT! In true tabloid fashion, THERE’S MORE!

Just as suddenly, players started reporting that their male Sims were ending up pregnant even without wooho-ing aliens.

Dun-dun-DUUUUUUUUUN!

The Sims have had persistent glitches before – including an icky “incest bug” that allowed for relationships between family members – so, players may have to just ride this out.

In the meantime, guys, I’d be happy to recommend some great Daddy and Me classes.
