Here’s a Mama Effects Test To Really Wake You Up for the Week
Don't Panic
For those among us who are metaphorically faint of heart (and I include myself in this description) and wary of spoilers, I’m going to put this pre-production video of Spanish horror actor Javier Botet doing some movement tests for the spectral antagonist of Andres Muschietti’s Mama below the jump.
According MTV, Botet suffers from Marfan syndrome, a genetic disorder with a wide range of symptoms, some quite severe, but the most obvious of which is abnormal height, slender limbs, elongated fingers, and and very flexible joints. Much like Bolaji Badejo, Alien‘s Xenomorph, Botet has made a bit of a career in horror. Before Mama, he played the recurring antagonist of the Spanish horror series REC.
