This is why we can’t have nice (Nintendo-licensed) things.

To be honest, this movie is kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I know it’s terrible. There’s no defending it. But it’s not just bad—the decisions they made are just such nonsense that I can’t not watch it. It’s like watching someone try to make a movie they’ve never actually seen but instead had explained to them over a really long game of telephone, and I find that highly entertaining, quality aside.
