Mark Hamill Is Still the King of Trolls
Mark Hamill has brought to life countless heroes for fans. Well, not all of them were heroes (the Joker comes to mind), but still, you get the picture. With that level of fame, however, comes a barrage of fan requests and strange Twitter questions. So how does Hamill combat it? He trolls! That doesn’t mean that everyone loves his trolling ways, but it comes par for the course when you’re dealing with Luke Skywalker himself.
And does Disney really have a choice when it comes to Mark Hamill? As he puts it, what are they going to do? Fire him? At a recent interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Hamill started to talk about his trolling ways and why he likes to go online to talk to fans of the Star Wars franchise.
He went on to do probably one of the best impressions of Harrison Ford ever, because it included a note from Ford stating that he “doesn’t sound like that.”
Mark Hamill is consistently one of the best celebrities out there, and I like to think that he’s keeping the spirit of Carrie Fisher and her humorous ways alive in how he interacts with fans. He’s always there to make someone laugh or be the Luke Skywalker they looked up to growing up, and it’s partly why fans love him so much.
Sure, we love Luke Skywalker, but I’d argue that many of us love Mark Hamill even more. He’s charismatic, fun, and clearly doesn’t take anything too seriously. Plus, he’s one of the reasons we still have Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so we owe Hamill a lot. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker because we heard his voice in the trailer so … force ghost Luke?
