Our favorite Jedi and Joker got his official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today on what is being called #JediDay. Mark Hamill’s twitter has been a pure delight to look through both for his own humility about the achievement, and Star Wars fans cheering him on.

Harrison Ford and Mark also took a moment to recognize the missing member of their trio Carrie Fisher, making us all get teary-eyed and emotional.

As a long time Luke fangirl and a fan of Mark Hamill’s work in general, I was so happy to watch him be recognized for the awesome human he is.

May the force be with you.

  • Lupita N’yongo shared this amazing piece of fanart on her Instagram today.

I already want like three different t-shirts of this.

  • Our queen of space pirates, Gina Torres, is getting her own show. A Suits spin-off, with her taking on the lead role has been picked up USA, which means that she’s going to be making a lot of money for awhile. USA shows last for eternity, but as far as I’m concerned: Go Gina! (via Deadline)
  • A Wrinkle in Time has a pretty damn good soundtrack, with one of the songs being performed by grownish stars, Chloe x Halle who released a new music video today. (via Freeform)
