Mark Ruffalo Encourages Everyone to Give Back

Do it for Mark Ruffalo, the best of us all.

You know, as 2018 winds to a close, I only trust like four white men, and Mark Ruffalo is at the top of the list. Concerned about our environment, working towards making young people in the world get out and vote, encouraging his fans to give back—all of it makes him one of the great guys out there.

Maybe it’s because he’s constantly trying to make a difference in the world, but he’s someone who just wants everyone to be the best they can be!

And he continues to share joy in the world, even when it feels dark. Today, he took to Twitter to encourage us to PayItForward, a challenge that means giving back to those around you. Whether it’s paying for someone’s lunch or giving to those in need, it’s just a way to help those less fortunate this holiday season.

I gave an initial 20 and, in posting about this article, gave 20 more dollars, because someone out there needs it. Even if you can only give 5 dollars, just one Starbucks to someone, that’s enough.

And if you can’t give back with money, you can give your time. Donating time and resources to local homeless shelters or coat drives this holiday season gives hope to those less fortunate than us to give back.

Since, Ruffalo has begun RTing those who help to share the spirit.

Encourging his fans to help those around them and bring a smile to their face.

It’s just a sweet gesture, one that he didn’t have to do, but did anyway, because I think he truly wants the world to be a better place. Constantly, he helps those in need, and it makes us want to be better people.

Thank you, Mark. You use your platform for good time and time again without asking for much in return. We support you because you’re a talented actor, but also because you’re willing to stand up for people and be the voice a lot of us cannot have in regards to our government, climate change, and everything else going on in the world.

This is one childhood crush I’m super glad has continued to work out.
