Rocket Through Mass Effect‘s Universe (Kind Of) on a 4D Theme Park Ride
Electronic Arts and California’s Great America have partnered up on planning an interactive ride based on BioWare’s Mass Effect games, which will incorporate “cutting-edge 3D technology and 4D effects,” according to BioWare. A live host will take the attendees on an intergalactic adventure to another planet, where they will face “larger-than-life foes and fight to save the day.”
Hopefully the end of the ride will conclude with three multi-colored tunnels, each of which actually spits the participants back out into the same end-point. I kid, I kid — the end of Mass Effect 3 was fine. Let’s all just replay the Citadel DLC and chill out. We’ve got some time to kill before this ride is ready to visit in 2016!
This news follows closely on the announcement that Ubisoft will also be building some videogame theme park rides. Which other games would you love to see in theme park form?
