Looking for some imaginary paradise in your childhood that never actually existed can be a dangerous trap, but it’s hard not to notice that parenting has changed, and it might not be for the better. Today’s overprotective parents might actually be depriving their kids of valuable life experience, and those video games some are so afraid of might actually be helping—especially Minecraft.
