I’ve admired artist Alice X. Zhang for her digital paintings for quite some time, but her new works, depicting scenes from modern classics like The Lord of the Rings and Pulp Fiction, really burst with color. You can see more of Zhang’s art on tumblr or deviantART, where you can be sure to find equally amazing pieces based on Sherlock, Doctor Who, Community, and more. If you’re in the New York area you can catch her show Moments, running from June 7th until June 28th at the Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn.
