Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday marks the introduction of a brand new Queen’s Birthday honors list, which honors prominent figures who have made an impact on the UK’s cultural landscape. Steven Moffat is one of those people, and whether you agree with his handling of Doctor Who and Sherlock or not, his prolific work on both are definitely worthy of recognition.

Cheers to you, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Steven Moffat.
