Monday Cute: Birb Wants Nothing to Do With Your Sassy Kitty

Birds, for all their strange habits and quirks, seem pretty chill. At least I think so. This bird, though? Chill as heck. Like, doesn’t even want to trifle with someone or something that doesn’t want to hang. That’s cool, man.

I mean, look at it. It opens the little box thing and finds a little kitty. The kitty bops the bird on the head, and without a moment’s hesitation, the bird closes the box again, like it’s saying, “Cool, alright, later, furball.” If these two are in some kind of sitcom, I feel the need to know all about it. Like, immediately.

Okay, truth be told, when I first looked at the thumbnail for this video, I thought the box was one of those Ableton controllers that DJs and music producers use to mix music and sounds. From there, I figured this would be a pretty sweet video of a bird mixing some music or something. I was ready to make a “better than the Chainsmokers” joke, too. (I mean, it still technically is, so, there’s that.)

Anyway, now I’ll be thinking about what a collab between the Chainsmokers and this birb would sound like. What would it be called? “The Chainsmokers (feat. Birby) – (Don’t) Box Me Up,” of course.
