Monday Cute: Little Kid Solves the “Trolley Problem” in His Own Clever Way

Recommended Videos

Every so often we like to bring humans into the fold here on Monday Cute, and this one… well, this one’s a little bit special. One parent decided to ask his kid about the “trolley problem.” His answer, well… let’s just say humans will be humans, eh?

In case you aren’t aware, the “trolley problem” is a philosophical/ethical debate question that’s often posed to Philosophy or Ethics classes, and it soon found its way onto all the imageboard sites. Now it exists in the greater internet consciousness.

In short, it goes like this: there’s an out of control trolley speeding down a track. You’re stationed at a fork in the tracks with the ability to flip a switch that would send it either down a track with one person tied to it or another track with multiple people on it.

This kid of course does what kids do and went for maximum damage. Oh, dear.
