Wednesdays are now Moon Knight Day! After a long wait, the first episode of Moon Knight is streaming on March 30th.

Moon Knight tells the story of Steven Grant, a mild-mannered museum gift shop employee. Steven is plagued with sleep problems, mistaking dreams for his waking life, and begins to experience blackouts. He then discovers that he shares a body with Marc Spector, and as his two lives converge, he becomes Moon Knight, a warrior priest of the Egyptian god, Khonshu.

Like any new Marvel movie or TV show, there’s been tons of secrecy and lots of theories, but now, we’ll finally have some answers. So get ready — because here are all the confirmed cast and characters who will be appearing in the new Disney Plus limited series!

Confirmed Characters and Who’s Playing Them

Oscar Isaac will play Steven Grant, Marc Spector, Mr. Knight, and Moon Knight. Why so many characters? Among other themes, Moon Knight will explore dissociative identity disorder, or DID. Steven Grant and Marc Spector are two alters who share the same body, with Mr. Knight and Moon Knight joining their system as Steven gradually starts to remember Marc’s life. While Steven is timid and hesitant, Marc is a hardened former mercenary, so those two characters alone will allow Isaac to show off his range. Isaac has pledged to take “the mental health aspect incredibly seriously,” which hopefully means that the show will explore Steven and Marc’s DID in a way that’s sensitive to viewers who may live with the same form of neurodivergence.

Ethan Hawke will play Arthur Harrow. Not much is known about Arthur Harrow at this point. In the comics, Harrow is a very minor villain. He’s a researcher and surgeon who tortures patients while trying to find a cure for his own chronic pain, and only ever makes one appearance. The Disney Plus series, though, is setting him up to be a major antagonist who may be more of a cult leader than a researcher. The first trailer shows people pawing at him and bowing down to him, while a new clip shows him summoning a mystical creature in a temple. He also seems to take an interest in Steven, telling him to “embrace the chaos” inside him. Hawke shed more light on the character in an interview with Comicbook.com, saying, “I don’t think I’ll spoil anything by telling you that, I mean, I think [Harrow] views himself as a real apostle of the Goddess Ammit, and that he’s here to heal the world, and rid it of sinners.”

Khonshu will be voiced by F. Murray Abraham. In the comics, Marc is fatally injured while on assignment in Sudan, and he’s left to die at the feet of a statue of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. Instead of letting him die, though, Khonshu resurrects him and makes him a super-powered warrior priest. While we don’t know much about Khonshu’s personality in the Disney Plus series, the visuals are gorgeous so far. The MCU’s Khonshu appears with a floating bird skull for a head, just like his counterpart in the comics.

May Calamawy will play Layla El-Faouly. We don’t know much about Layla yet, but we do know that she’s a friend of Marc’s. In the clip above, she encourages him to summon his Moon Knight suit while Arthur summons his own magic.

Gaspard Ulliel will play Anton Mogart, AKA Midnight Man. In the comics, Midnight Man is a thief who steals art and other rare and valuable artifacts. He’s one of Moon Knight’s adversaries, and his signature move is that he always strikes at midnight. There’s no information about his MCU persona yet, but considering that Steven works in a museum, the two of them will presumably butt heads before too long.

Lucy Thackeray will play Donna. Donna appears briefly in the trailer, poking fun at Steven when he’s late for work at the museum gift shop.

Sofia Danu will play Ammit. Presumably, Ammit is the goddess to whom Arthur Harrow is dedicated. In real Egyptian mythology, Ammit is the devourer of the dead. Could it be her hand coming out of the portal Harrow opens in the new clip?

Additionally, the following characters and cast members are confirmed:

Fernanda Andrade as Wendy Spector

Diana Bermudez as Yatzil

Ann Akinjirin as Bobby

Rey Lucas as Elias Spector

Antonia Salib as Tawaret

David Ganley as Billy

Anxious to see all these characters come to life? You don’t have to wait long. The first episode of Moon Knight is streaming on March 30!
