The Droid You’re Looking For‘s taxonomy of cinema enthusiasts charts a familiar arc, from innocent enthusiasm, to various stages of self-education, to hipsterdom, and then finally the most evolved sort of geek: the one that just wants everybody else to be as happily interested in their fandom as they are.

Sometimes, of course, you never really stop being Blockbustericus but manage to get most of the way to Celluloid Sapien anyway. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.
