When I purchase fanart, I go for stuff that I can frame and hang in my living room. I want something that’s aesthetically pleasing to the unaware eye, while simultaneously delivering a wink to those who get it. Nan Lawson’s work fits the bill. I love the simple colors, the clean lighting, the pensive, peaceful expressions. She’s got many, many more prints than the handful I’ve featured here, all of which can be purchased at Society6.
