Speaking Of Stuff That Got Cut From Guardians, Here’s a Deleted Scene of Nebula and Gamora
Wait, WHAT.
We were only just talking not three seconds ago about how James Gunn was foolish for removing Nebula from the Guardians of the Galaxy‘s final ending montage, and now we find out that he cut even more of our favorite cyborg space pirate from the film—AND Gamora was in the scene, too! They were talking! Together! About their shared past under the oppressive thumb of Thanos! WE COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAAAALL.
Here’s the video, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:
Again, we do know we’re getting more Nebula in the sequel. But… buuuut. WHY. WHY NOT THIS SCENE. It’s so beautiful. Look at them angrily getting all up in each other’s faces. They look like they’re about to burst into a rousing rendition of “Confrontation” from Les Miserables. Which… I think would make Peter into Cosette? I don’t know. I make analogies so I don’t have to emotionally deal with how deeply I mourn the loss of this scene.
