Talk about a super team: Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day, Stan Lee, Seth Green, and Zachary Levi, and more have all teamed up to kick alien butt and raise money for Operation Smile while doing it.
Nerds Vs. Aliens is San Diego C0mic-Con’s fundraiser supporting Operation Smile’s work in bringing medical help to those with “cleft lip, cleft palate, or other facial deformities for children around the globe”. The superstar nerds have posed for an impressive array of pictures and posters that will be on sale at Comic-Con this year. High-quality canvas-wrapped prints will be auctioned off, but for the rest of us there will be less expensive prints for sale, and eventually they will be available for purchase through the Nerds Vs. Aliens webstore.
Levi (actor/nerd/founder of The Nerd Machine) had this to say:
Personally I’m very stoked that Operation Smile gets to be the charity of choice that’s benefitting from this. We’re excited to be the exclusive release partners of the finished piece at Nerd HQ during SDCC 2013.
