Photos From the Netflix Gilmore Girls Revival Show First Glimpse of the Gilmore Women

You know that we’ve been way excited about the upcoming Netflix revival of the beloved series, Gilmore Girls. Now, Netflix has released the first images from that revival, giving us some insight into what what the Gilmore Women have been up to. Check out the images in the gallery above! Note: If you absolutely want ZERO INFORMATION about Gilmore girls, look no further!
It seems that Rory (Alexis Bledel) has become a high school English teacher (?), and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) are still together. The show will also find Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop) dealing with life as a widow (after the sad passing of actor Edward Herrmann, who played Gilmore patriarch, Richard Gilmore). Also…Stars Hollow: The Musical? I’m now kind of hoping for a musical episode where the entire thing is a performance of this musical, which would be strikingly similar to Red, White, and Blaine from Waiting for Guffman.
In addition to the main cast all coming back (yay, Melissa McCarthy!), there are also going to be some new faces! Like Sutton Foster, who’s a huge fan of the show, and Mae Whitman, who played Lauren Graham’s daughter on NBC’s Parenthood.
Honestly though, I’m just in it for those four words. I can’t wait to get back to Stars Hollow!
