New Twitter Rolls Out to Everyone Sometime This Week
Almost an entire year after its launch back on September 14 of last year, the two-columned New Twitter will be rolling out to all users sometime this week, and anyone using Old Twitter will be forced to switch to New Twitter. The change should only bother the kind of user who tries to stay hip by living in the past, considering New Twitter has a handful of new features that provide a higher-quality Twitter experience, including two columns of information and media embedded right into Twitter itself.
For whatever reason, Twitter allowed users to stick with the old format for around a year, but sometime this week said users will be forced to get with the times — or use a third party Twitter client like the rest of us.
