Nickelodeon Theme Park Ready to Bring Your Childhood to Life
Are you ready for all your favorite Nickelodeon cartoons to come to life on a huge scale? Nickelodeon Universe, at 8.5 acres, will be the largest indoor amusement park in North America. The park is set to open in 2018 at New Jersey’s 3 million-square-foot mall American Dream Meadowlands.
TIME points out that the mall will also have “a DreamWorks suite of rides,” a Legoland, and more, so your 2018 family vacation will be full of possibilities to make the trip worthwhile. If you’re not up for waiting or your children are aging too quickly, you can visit a similar park at the Mall of America in Minnesota.
Currently, they’ve only revealed plans for rides based on Spongebob Squarepants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Considering Nickelodeon is currently working on bringing back Rocko’s Modern Life, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Hey Arnold!, I’d wager that they’ll all get some kind of attraction as well for one big nostalgia trip. I’d also be really into a haunted house attraction based off Are You Afraid of the Dark? and a toddler attraction based off Rugrats.
What shows do you want to see at Nickelodeon Universe?
