It's Reedus on the open road with more motorcycles and a lot less walkers.

Turns out AMC can’t get enough of Norman Reedus.

The star of Boondock Saints and The Walking Dead is going to be heading up his very own six-episode reality series for the same network that brought him into the homes of fans as Daryl Dixon. The show, called Ride With Norman Reedus, will premiere on AMC beginning in June after Preacher, and will follow Reedus via rides on his motorcycle all over the U.S.

According to Deadline, Ride With Norman Reedus will showcase guest “riding companions” such as director Robert Rodriguez and actor Peter Fonda while featuring Reedus as he “[explores] local biker culture, stopping at custom bike shops, tattoo parlors, collectors’ warehouses and a roadside smokehouse.” AMC has released a small teaser trailer to announce the series, which you can check out on YouTube below:

After the season finale of The Walking Dead left many fans with mixed emotions over the total cop-out of an ending (wherein a character was presumably killed off with their identity still unknown), one wonders if this show could be a potential indication that Daryl was the one to get the axe? I doubt it, though. In spite of not having been a character based out of The Walking Dead comic, Daryl’s definitely a fan-favorite–and besides, there’s every chance Reedus could have filmed this six-episode series during one of his main show’s infamous mid-season breaks.

Ride With Norman Reedus premieres Sunday, June 12th at 10pm on AMC.
