So a little while back, we posted about NPR’s Race On Tech, a storytelling project that sought to tell the stories of diverse innovators from around the country who were doing great work in STEM.
Well, after 200 nominations, they’ve chosen 14 finalists who’ll be talking about their workdays and insights starting July 13th. They’ve had a soft launch on Tumblr and Twitter so you can read these stories by following the #RaceOnTech hashtag. You can also follow “NPRNews” on Snapchat or Periscope.

You’ll hear stories from innovators like Tracy Chou from Pinterest, who talks about growing up in Silicon Valley and diversity efforts within companies; or Christian Cultee, who’s interning at NASA (which might just be the second coolest place in the world to intern after TMS, what’s up!) and talks about rockets.
I’m very excited about the series and the way it celebrates underrepresented voices, so definitely check that out!
