Twitter: it isn’t all white supremacists and harassment! Sometimes it is hilarious and reminds us of the good in the world. Case in point: Friday was Old Headshot Day, and folks took to the site in droves to post old cheesy photos from back in the day. Some of our favorite actors and personalities joined the trend, displaying their early head shots and awkward school photos. We’ve rounded up some of our favorites:

Here’s Mark Hamill in all his 70’s glory:

The Big Sick‘s Kumail Nanjiani and his eyebrows are playing with fire:

Supernatural‘s Misha Collins looks like a baby accountant:

No joke, I want Melissa McCarthy’s tiny cowboy hat:

Same for Emma Watson’s pink baker’s hat:

Sarah Michelle Gellar coming through with those early 90’s bangs:

Baby-faced Viola Davis:

Joe Mangianello with early 2000’s spiky hair:

Reese Witherspoon’s might be my favorite because PROPS!

Leslie Jones before she became a Ghostbuster:

Her beats include queer popular culture, film, television, republican clownery, and the unwavering belief that 'The Long Kiss Goodnight' is the greatest movie ever made. She currently resides in sunny Los Angeles, with her husband, 2 sons, and one poorly behaved rescue dog. She is a former roller derby girl and a black belt in Judo, so she is not to be trifled with.
