[UPDATED] GQ Says Olivia Wilde Is Too Hot To Play A Writer, She Responds Appropriately
Better to be a smartass than a dumbass, in my book.
HA. Kiss my smart ass, GQ. “@Jezebel: Olivia Wilde's ass too nice for her to play a writer, says GQ review http://t.co/WJx8BbjWgJ”
— olivia wilde (@oliviawilde) June 25, 2014
GQ’s recent review of Olivia Wilde‘s Third Person took the liberty of proclaiming her performance as a writer was unbelievable because “With that tush, who’d need to be literate? Who’d want to?” Wilde, who’s impressed us before with her words, had a succinct response to the idea that a woman who meets arbitrary and subjective standards of physical attractiveness wouldn’t need or want to seek pursuits associated with intelligence or literacy.
[Update] And then GQ re-responded:
We blew it, @oliviawilde. We regret that boneheaded joke in Tom Carson's "Third Person" review. So does he.
