Leonard Solomon makes instruments that look and sound like they belong in a Dr. Seuss or Tim Burton story (although with the latter, the instrument isn’t played by Johnny Depp, nor is it purple enough). The instrument pictured above is called an Oomphalapompatronium and isn’t particularly easy to type out. If the weird honking sounds and steampunk-style pipes and horns is up your alley, check out Solomon’s YouTube channel for some more of his strange instruments.
