Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany Talks About Why Being an LGBTQ+ Ally Is a “No-Brainer”
As if we didn’t have enough reason to love the insanely talented Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black, in this video from GLAAD’s video series, GLAAD: All Access, Maslany tears up while talking about why she considers herself an LGBTQ+ ally.
In addition to that, she also goes into the Cosima/Delphine relationship a bit, and why she thinks Delphine provides positive representation of a bisexual woman:
They’re not on show, they’re not on display for the male gaze. They’re not sexualized in that way, but they are sexual with each other. And they’re intimate. And whether Delphine identifies as bisexual, however she identifies herself, she’s open to loving Cosima, and there’s no question. It’s about the love between them, not about the fact that they’re two women.
