Things We Saw Today: Oscar Isaac Says It’s Okay to Call Him Daddy
Daddy? Sorry...Oscar? Oh you prefer Daddy?
Everyone’s internet husband is Oscar Isaac and if it isn’t then he’s at least your side piece. I don’t make the rules, I just follow them. We’ve caught the Oscar Isaac bug and have been trapped in the never-ending cycle of being in love with him and every fictional character he brings to life, even the scary and/or super-weird ones. Isaac doesn’t make it easy on us either offscreen. I’m 99% sure he does and says things that are designed to torment us, his viewing populace and many spouses.
Like telling his fans that they can call him daddy, if they want. A real thing that this man said in a recent interview because he, frankly, wants us all dead, “I didn’t know the fans called me Daddy,” Isaac said, though now he is very much aware. “But that’s okay. They can call me Daddy, if they want to. I don’t mind.”
There are one of two ways this could have gone: Isaac could have laughed it off or been embarrassed about it or he could have reacted like this. And honestly, this one is maybe the worst for our continued survival. Telling us all we can call him daddy? That it’s okay? He doesn’t mind? How are we supposed to go on with our days?
So what we’ve learned here is that Oscar Isaac is either completely oblivious to the hold he has on society or he is well aware of what he is choosing to do and just does it to choose violence. And frankly, I don’t know which is worse.
