Oscar Isaac Says He’ll Give His Phone Number to Anyone With “Questions” About Star Wars

Recommended Videos

Following his Golden Globe win for his role in HBO’s Show Me a Hero, Oscar Isaac had to field a lot of questions backstage — most of which were actually about Star Wars. Someone asked him when the statute of limitations would be up for Star Wars spoiler warnings; in response, Variety reports that Isaac said “Isn’t it time now? Look, I’m here, I’ll put my number out there if anyone has any questions.”

I’m pretty sure Isaac was only offering his phone number to the entertainment reporters present, but if the man wants to start up some sort of public Star Wars hotline, I don’t think any of us would be opposed.

Isaac also offered some thoughts about diversity in Star Wars, saying, “the guy from Star Wars is definitely not Latino. He’s from a galaxy far, far away.” He then went on to say, “It’s difficult for people who look like not the status quo in this country to get great roles. I feel humbled and honored and blessed to have been able to do that. Hopefully that will happen more.”
