This Marching Band Formed A Giant T-Rex; Your Argument Is Invalid [Video]
Oh look, it's the only reason some of us ever cared about football as kids!
The Ohio State University marching band is pretty well known across the Internet for their complicated and imaginative formations — remember their video game tribute from last year? In this year’s tribute to “Hollywood Blockbusters,” they play music from Man of Steel, Fellowship of The Ring, Harry Potter, and Jurassic Park. Needless to say, it’s totally amazing.
So obviously the best part of the video is the T-rex at the end who eats one of the drum majors, of course, but can we talk about how they depict Superman changing in a phone booth and realigning the Leaning Tower of Pizza as their opener? And then they do that one part of “A Knife in the Dark” as the Eye of Sauron? Ugggggh it’s AMAZING.
But then again, I might be a bit biased. My marching band in high school did songs from Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, and now I am having some very complicated feelings over here. Mostly ones of nostalgia and jealousy and nerd-rage. I don’t want to talk about it. Everything hurts.
