Peak Futuredad: President Obama Watching a Virtual Reality Video Narrated by Himself
Hi "Going to Vomit From Motion Sickness!" I'm dad!

Everything about this picture of President Obama wearing a virtual reality headset is perfect, but my favorite part has to be the bored White House staffer pretending not to notice the POTUS being hip like the youths while wearing something not even the youths can look hip in. It’s amazing, and I can’t wait to explain it to the cyborg children of the future when I’m 85 years old.
And the picture isn’t even the best part. Just look at the caption—he’s basically watching a virtual reality home video from his visit to Yosemite National Park. (OK, not all of us get our home videos shot by filmmakers working with Oculus and National Geographic, but you get the idea.) He is peak futuredad, and to perfectly cap off just how amusing that is, the video is also narrated by none other than Barack Obama. Do you think he’s listening to his own narration in those headphones? Do you think he, like everyone else, hates the sound of his own voice played back to him?
The film is called Through the Ages, and it was made to honor the 100-year anniversary of the National Parks Service. You can watch it in its full glory on Gear VR, and an Oculus version is on the way—or you can just watch it in Facebook 360 video, where you can use your mouse to look around instead of your head:
