Things We Saw Today: We’re Obsessed With Pedro Pascal Taking a Lie Detector Test

Pedro Pascal saying I'm Your Daddy
Recommended Videos

Pedro Pascal is one of our funniest actors, and he proves that in the film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent as Javi, a Nick Cage (Nic Cage) super fan. But to promote the movie, Pascal also tested his honesty by heading to Vanity Fair to partake in their time-honored tradition of putting celebrities to the test by taking a polygraph.

The entire lie detector test segment is great because it’s just Pedro Pascal confirming that he’s not short (he’s 5’11” naked and 6′ with shoes) and talking about searching for his name on Twitter to see what people are saying about him and being compared to Orlando Bloom.

The video gave us some great gems that I’m sure fans will be using for the rest of our days as Pedro Pascal stans—like using “daddy is a state of mind” and “I’m your daddy” as memes.

It also helps that in the middle of the video, he was asked about the podcast Podro Pascal: A Pedro Pascal Podcast, of which yours truly is a host.

Overall, it was just a fun look into the mind of Pedro Pascal when we knew that he couldn’t lie.
