Boldly go where thousands of other geeks have gone before: ThinkGeek’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con. There, you’ll get a chance to play with their newest gizmo that won’t even be on sale until November, which is a fully functional universal remote control that is a perfect licensed replica of a phaser.

The phaser is The Wand Company’s latest gesture-based universal remote control, and it’s a 1:1 scale replica made from detailed 3D scans of the original phaser prop.

ThinkGeek says, “Seamlessly blending functionality and perfect form, the 1:1 scale Phaser is equipped with 10 authentic phaser firing sounds, tactile force-feedback, a customizable personal lock code, and can store up to 36 remote commands.” You can head over to ThinkGeek to see more details and add it to your wishlist.

It also comes in a nifty box:

And its own display stand for impressing your friends and probably making sure it stays put if things get a little rough.
