New Trailer For Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Has Actual Plot Information In It

Luckily for us, someone at Disney remembered that some people who might be interested in PotC: On Stranger Tides are old enough to have their own credit cards and while we might still appreciate Johnny Depp‘s performance we’re not swooning over every one of Jack’s witticisms. (Although the one about first mates is pretty good, we’ll admit.)

So they made a trailer that actually gives us some idea of what the frak is going on. Other than fountain, mermaids, a predictably firey Latina pirate, and one actual factual historical swashbuckler in the person of Edward mutha lovin’ Teach.

In other news, I think I’ve finally learned how to spell Caribbean right on the first try.
