Five Year Old Girl’s Video Game Nets Her A TED Talk; What Have You Done Lately?

Behold a screenshot from Sissy’s Magical Ponycorn Adventure, a more than year old flash game that takes about five minutes to play, with words, art and story by five-year-old Cassie, and all the programming done by her dad Ryan. A year and a half later, the goodwill and attention generated by the game is giving Cassie’s college fund quite a boost but more importantly, obviously, she and her dad, who is interested in reforming children’s technology education, got to give a TED talk.
