When Gary Hudston wanted to ask his sweetheart Stephanie to marry him, he shirked the traditional methods of sky writing, trained dog choirs, or Minecraft and pulled out the big guns. That is to say, a portal gun. Hiring level designers Doug Hoogland and Rachel van der Meer; getting a blessing from Valve; and even having the incomparable Ellen Mclain reprise her role as GLaDOS, Hudston presented the offer for marital bliss with a custom three-level Portal 2 map.
