Season Two of Powers Will Be Its Last … But the Comics Will Continue Onward

Recommended Videos

Remember Powers, the live-action series adaptation of the comic books by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming? Yeah, you might not remember it, because it was only streaming on the PlayStation Network, and it was more of a cult favorite than a wild success … unlike that other well-known live-action series adaptation of a Bendis co-created comic book that’s streaming online. You know the one.

It seems like only yesterday that we were watching the season two trailer for Powers, and now we’ve learned that the second season will be the show’s last. Then again, most people didn’t even seen to know Powers that was streaming on PSN at all. Seems like this show got dealt a difficult hand. If you missed the boat entirely on this one, seasons one and two of Powers are still available to stream on PSN.

but fans of @POWERStheSERIES the comic book will continue @Marvel the next storyline is called diamond days. two issues already in the can.

If you love the characters and you want to see their stories continue, you might want to pick up the comic book run, which will continue to follow the protagonists’ adventures beyond the scope of the show. Here’s a link to the first hardcover volume of Powers, if you’re interested!
