Star-Lord Likely to Appear in Infinity War; Chris Pratt May Not Be Indiana Jones After All

Hey, Renner can't be the only A-Hole.

In a lengthy recent interview with GQ, Burt Macklin (alias Chris Pratt) spoke about the many franchises he’s been rumored for recently, saying of the possible Channing Tatum Ghostbusters movie:

No one has ever even spoken to me about that. Never. I’ve even seen Channing a couple times. As far as I know, that’s complete bullshit. Knight Rider — bullshit. All of them.

Although I think the Ghostbusters franchise is dude-saturated already without adding Pratt to the mix, the actor revealed that he likely won’t be appearing in that fifth Indiana Jones movie either. GQ writes that

[…] the truth, as far as he is concerned, is that someone high up at Disney did mention to him a while back that they were picking up the rights to Indiana Jones, to which Pratt commented that his action-adventure card was fairly full.

Not surprisingly, many of Pratt’s action-adventure obligations are with the MCU; he’s “tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple.”

GQ hypothesizes that Pratt is likely “committed to at least two [Guardians] sequels, as well as spin-off projects where his character will appear with other Marvel characters,” and considering Thanos will play a massive role in one of the Infinity films, Star-Lord seems likely to make an appearance as well.
