Pull It Together: Bitch Planet Is Out!
We've got issues. Lots of issues.
Welcome to Pull It Together, where the goal is to narrow the massive field of comic book titles to the ones you shouldn’t overlook. It isn’t about what’s on my pull list, it’s about what could be on yours!
It’s the second week of the month, and that means it’s time too cast our gazes forward, through the mists of time, to that lofty month of February in the simply farfetched year of 2015. What comics are coming out then that you should put on your pull list now, in order that your book might properly count as sales? Well, Vaughn and Staples’ Saga will be back with a new story arc, so if you plan on getting caught up on the trades and then beginning your monthly worship of the series, make sure to let your comic shop know now. But there are also several brand new series that start up in February.
Spider-Gwen, for one, as well as the Orphan Black ongoing comics series. If you liked the Spider-Verse’s Cindy Moon, you should know that her spider-based powers have gotten her her own ongoing Marvel series, Silk, that debuts in February. Thrilling Adventure Hour fans will want to let their comic shop know that they’d like copies of the brand new Sparks Nevada Marshal on Mars miniseres. And you should absolutely not overlook Help Us Great Warrior, a comic series based on the webcomic of the same name by Madéleine Flores, cartoonist, artist for Dreamworks, and writer for Bee and Puppycat. As a gag comic, Help Us Brave Warrior is best described as “What if Lumpy Space Princess was the hero of Ooo?,” so I can only imagine what amazing stories a full comic series might hold.
That’s what’s going on around February! Here’s what’s happening in your neck of the timeline: Bitch Planet! Afterlife With Archie! The Midas Flesh! That’s what’s happening!
