Reactions to the Avengers: Endgame Trailer Were on Fire

**This post contains spoilers for the Avengers: Endgame trailer.**

The new trailer for Avengers: Endgame is here, and as predicted, we’re all dead now. After waiting for months to see what’s happening with our favorite heroes, this is definitely not what we expected. Tony Stark giving his “final” message to Pepper as he’s preparing to die? Steve Rogers beautifully crying into the sun?

Yeah, it hurts.

So, we decided to find the best takes about the trailer, both humorous and sincere, and there were a lot.

As everyone is preparing to take on Thanos again, to find a way to reverse what happened, there’s Wong.

For many, the moment that stabbed us all in the heart was Tony, adrift in space much like his narrowly avoided fate in the first Avengers movie, believing he was leaving his last message for Pepper.

Next time I’d appreciate it if you just stabbed me in the heart instead.

Needed to see something so beautiful that you wanted to weep?

I mean …

What’s sad is that all this “speculation” about the name could have easily been erased if we just listened to Dr. Strange.

Can we “thank u, next” the next couple of months so we can see this movie?

It’s super fun to stop and think about all our favorite characters and what they’ve been through. Super fun and not painful, at all.

Where’s the lie?

If you’re like me, though, your first thought was … well … “Endgame.”

Maybe, in his depression, Thor becomes the next big rapper?

Don’t worry, guys. Ant-Man has this covered though.

Um.

Chris Evans made sure to tweet, though, to drive the knife deeper into our hearts.

Is Avengers: Endgame going to kill us all? Probably, but what else can we do but sit, watch it, and cry our little hearts out?
