We all related to Grumpy Cat, especially in 2019, and now, gone way too soon, we have to say goodbye. A meme that turned into a legend, Grumpy Cat was all of us, and we were Grumpy Cat. Apparently a very happy kitty in reality, Grumpy was known throughout the internet for having the meanest of expressions.

What’s not to love about Grumpy Cat? Angry scowl? Check! Clearly done with the world? Especially now in 2019! But also, we love a famous pet. So to hear of Grumpy’s passing hurts, and many are reflecting on the joy we got from seeing this lovely cat.

And, in true Grumpy Cat fashion, the memes were lit.

Rest In Peace, Grumpy. You and your sad face will surely be missed.
