First Trailer for Riddick Drops, Features Lots of Creepy Critters [Video]

What’s left to say about the Riddick franchise and Vin Diesel starring as the eponymous main character? Apparently enough to make a new movie. Simply titled Riddick, the latest movie releases on September 9th, and the trailer that just dropped kind of…looks like a bit of a rehash of Pitch Black? Whatever, it’ll be good for an hour or two of Diesel beating up on people and then trying to save them when the inevitable darkness descends.

Also, this trailer made me realize that I know even less than I thought I did about this particular franchise, because it feels like we’ve seen all of these things before. Maybe that’s partly the point? Who knows.
