Surprise! While J.K. Rowling is busy promoting her new book series, she secretly finished History of the Quidditch World Cup. And she just published the first half online for free. You should be able to read it here but it seems Pottermore has been overloaded. I’m not surprised. You may recall Warner Bros was able to convince the offer to continue the Harry Potter juggernaut on the big screen with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (she’s also working on an HP prequel for the London stage). I wonder if this story will be next? Either way, part 2 of History of the Quidditch World Cup will be published on Pottermore on Friday, March 21.
