Mark Ruffalo Calls Thor: Ragnarok a Buddy Movie; We Are Intrigued

So they've been reading our fan fiction?

OK, so it’s not the Iron Man/Hulk buddy movie of our dreams (which I guess we kind of already got in the Avengers movies), but this sounds like fun all the same: Mark Ruffalo’s understanding is that Thor: Ragnarok will be a buddy movie starring the God of Thunder and the Hulk. One’s by the book, and the other’s a giant green rage monster! (Oh, and also there’s Thor.) Hilarity ensues!

In a New York Daily News interview to promote his upcoming film Spotlight, Ruffalo commented on his now-confirmed role in the third Thor movie:

I don’t really know that much about it, but I think it’s going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner. I think they’ll probably fight. There’s no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point.

Yes, the pair does have a bit of … unfinished business that we wouldn’t mind seeing more of.

But will they fight before their zany planet-hopping adventures? After? During? All of the above? How will this story of a massive, dimwitted fighting machine, his giant green pal (not a movie Thor fan, tbh), and their budding friendship play out?
