White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is bad at his job for several reasons, including that his boss is a nonsense person who regularly says and does things for which there is no defense. That doesn’t stop him from trying, though, and when he’s not making Holocaust comparisons that result in calls for his firing, he weaves plenty of nonsense of his own to defend the indefensible. Naturally, the Internet has run with that.
#SpicerSpinsMoviePlots has resulted in tons of jokes mashing up our favorite movies with Spicer’s personal brand of bullshit, but the ones where he defends a movie’s villain—either directly or by discrediting the movie’s hero—have an eerily true-to-life ring to them.
