We've got issues. Lots of issues.

Welcome to Pull It Together, where the goal is to narrow the massive field of comic book titles to the ones you shouldn’t overlook. It isn’t about what’s on my pull list; it’s about what could be on yours!

It’s a good week, with new series, new one shots, and new trade paperbacks, but before we get into that, let’s look ahead two months, to April’s pre-orders!

April: so many first time trade paperback collections! Bee & PuppyCat, Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman, Penny Dora and the Wishing Box, and Lumberjanes are all having their first set of issues collected for the first time. They join veteran trade-havers Hawkeye, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10, Captain Marvel, Harley Quinn, and Bandette. And there are three new series that you should consider telling your shop to set aside for you.

The first is Archie vs. Predator, which is exactly what it sounds like, from, yes, Archie Comics. Don’t expect more explanation, because I don’t have any. Then, Sleepy Hollow fans, your Sleepy Hollow comic miniseries might be over, but in April you’ll be treated to the one-shot Sleepy Hollow Origins. And finally, Pisces is new cerebral scifi “space horror,” an alternate history of the American space program, from Kurtis J. Wiebe, creator of Rat Queens. Definitely worth checking out.

But now… this week’s comics!

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
